

Kamakura
This is Kamakura. The red paint on the temple gates and the green needles of the old pine trees that decorate the grounds make for a beautiful scene. If you ever travel to Tokyo this is one of the places you should visit. It is less than an hour away by train. The temples and traditional architecture give it a feel for what Japan was once like when feudal lords rode through the town on horseback. Tokyo My Love
Tokyo has more to offer than nostalgic temples and neon lights. It is alive with music. In almost every district you can find a place where someone is playing live. The sounds vary from hard core rock and roll to left field flights of artistic imagination. You can find it all. I think the reason the city is so eclectic is that Japanese people are quite culturally open minded and accepting. They fully embrace different cultures and often make them their own. Here in T
