Just the way you are

I had a whole story about Tokyo life written then I accidentally erased it all. As I mentioned in a previous post, I use dictation to write these. I also have the computer read it back to me to check it really quickly before I post. Yes, yes it's not foolproof, especially since I'm usually writing these either early in the morning or late at night when I'm sleepy. But it does make the process go by a little bit faster. I had a page and a half written and it all went poof.

So rather than post nothing I will just leave you with this for now.

Wherever you are in the world reading this, I wish you well. No matter how glorious your life is or how shitty, I want you to remember the beautiful moments they made you smile and the people that have really cared about you. Come on, there has to be at least one person.

We don't all have to be perfect in fact it is the imperfection of us that makes us interesting. We don't all have to put on a brave and super confident face. It is the uncertainty of life that makes it adventuresome and makes you human. And if somebody doesn't like you for who you are, then fuck em. You don't need to waste a single moment of your life fretting over why that person doesn't like you. There are all kinds of people in this world. If you think you're a little too fat, a little too skinny, or not quite the type that you think others are looking for, then find somebody who will accept you as you are. I'm not writing this because I'm having problems. Well, sometimes I do. I'm not the most handsome person in the world and the older I get the more I accumulate fat in places that I'd rather not have it. However, that’s not why I am writing this. I just feel like somebody somewhere reading this needs to see it. It's just a feeling that I have.

Anyway, my dear, dear readers be well, be safe, and remember that you are absolutely wonderful the way you are.
